HOT Telecom was established in 2003 as a subsidiary of HOT Media to operate a public telecommunications network. Since the end of 2004, HOT Telecom has begun the phased introduction of fixed telephony services based on an advanced VoIP technology.

Today over 200,000 customers have subscribed to HOT Telecom’s fixed telephony services. They also enjoy additional advanced telephony services that include telephone infrastructure services, voicemail solutions and data telecommunication services. HOT Telecom’s telephony network is among the most advanced in the world and the company plans to introduce additional advanced telephony services in the future.

Regarding Internet, HOT Internet provides fast connections over its cable infrastructure. Within two and a half years from launch, HOT Internet reports 550,000 subscribers to the cable Internet, which represents 35% of Israel's broadband Internet market.

In addition, HOT Telecom provides the Israeli business sector with complete communications solutions, including data communications, transmission services and telephony services. Currently, HOT Telecom has thousands of business customers from all sectors, including small and medium businesses as well as leading customers from the public, finance and high-tech sectors.
