Home Center is the largest and most prominent chain in the Israeli DIY market. Established in 1992, it has grown to 40 nationwide stores, incorporating a wide selection of products for the home, garden and car. As the market leader, Home Centers has taken many innovative steps to expand its retail presence.

It has added mini-stores of 400 to 800 sq.m and huge superstores of 1000 to 4000 sq.m. It has also transformed its logistics and storage systems to increase responsiveness to customers and ensure that products are available.

Internationally, Home Centers has successfully exported its DIY retailing expertise. In Cyprus the chain opened its third store in Limassol in March 2007, following Paphos in 2001 and Nicosia in 1999. The first Russian store was opened in Yeroslav at the beginning of 2007. Home Centers plans a network of 24 Russian DIY stores within 10 years, varying in size from 5000 to 12,000 sq.m. Other plans involve setting up subsidiary chains in Serbia and Croatia.
